Carleton University offers the following Prestige scholarships to outstanding incoming undergraduate students with an admission average of 90% better: the Chancellor’s Scholarship, the Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarship, the Carleton University Scholarship of Excellence, the Carleton University SHAD Scholarship, the Riordon Scholarship, and the Collins Prestige Scholarship.

These scholarships aim to provide international students with the required funds to pay for their studies and to successfully complete their education here in Canada. Students must first obtain an offer of admission and should have accepted to study at Carleton University before they are considered for this award. Applicants must know that the competition for this award is tight and must do well to show great academic performance and leadership quality in other to stand a chance.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Chancellor’s Scholarships: $30,000 ($7,500 x 4 years).

Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarships: $21,500 ($6,500 in the first year and $5,000 in second, third, and fourth-year)

Carleton University Scholarships of Excellence: $20,000 ($5,000 x 4 years)

Carleton University SHAD Scholarships: $20,000 ($5,000 x 4 years)

Riordon Scholarship: Full tuition in the first, second, third, and fourth year, capped at Canadian domestic full tuition fee amount.

Collins Prestige Scholarship: Full tuition in the first, second, third, and fourth year, capped at Canadian domestic full tuition fee amount.

Scholarships are renewable with an annual GPA of 10.0.

Eligibility:

Applicants Must be entering Carleton University to begin their studies. You must also be applying for an undergraduate course program at the university. Students who have previously attended a post-secondary educational institution (either college or university) are not eligible for these awards.

To qualify for any of the scholarships, applicants are must ensure they obtain an admission average of 90 percent or better. The selection committee will assess the range of your community or secondary school extra-curricular activities.
