Brief description:

Accommodation in Canada has always played a very important role in the cost of living for students. You pay more for accommodation depending on where you reside. Students who live in the accommodations save more money compared to when they live outside school except they live two or three in an apartment.

International students who are entering newly into Aberystwyth University are provided with several accommodation options at a discount. The university is providing international students who have just recently obtained admission into the university an international Accommodation Award to help reduce the cost of living for students. The aim of this award is completely removed or partially reduce the cost of housing included in the tuition fees. Depending on the accommodation options you select, you may to pay nothing at all for accommodation or it will be discounted by £2,000 – per year, for the duration of your studies.

Students must first receive and accept an offer of admission to study a bachelor, master’s, or doctoral degree program at the university. The award is renewable every year and it could be provided for the entire length of their course if only they continue paying full-time and full fee-paying.

Students must ensure they meet they are residing in an accommodation managed by the school as a requirement to qualify for this scholarship. Applicants are also required to demonstrate financial need of which they wouldn’t be able to pay for their studies without this scholarship.

Applicants must be international students admitted to a Kendall College undergraduate degree program in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry.

Eligibility:

All students must have a valid student visa or study permit which ensures that they are eligible to study in Canada. To obtain a student visa to study anywhere in Canada, applicants will have to first obtain an offer of admission and receive a letter of admission from Kendall College.

Applicants will also be required to meet the minimum language requirement (or equivalent) if their native language is not English Language. Students should have in the past demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to academic and extracurricular activities.

Applicants must first ensure that they obtain admission to study an undergraduate degree program in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry at Kendall College

This accommodation award is available to international students every year; those who meet the basic requirements are welcomed to apply. The deadline to apply every year is 24^th October

After you have made an application to study at Aberystwyth University, you will be provided access to the accommodation portal which is opened on April. The school will provide you inclusive accommodation in Cwrt Mawr. if you’d prefer to live somewhere else outside Cwrt Mawr, you should reject the accommodation offered by the school and then select where you’d like to live. You will still be eligible to receive the £2,000 discount on the cost of the accommodation.
